To get more gold in Vampire Crawlers: The Turbo Wildcard from Vampire Survivors, you can use a money-making stat boost or exploit a handy gold-farming strategy. The latter will get you thousands of gold (also called “coins”) within mere minutes. The gold farm requires a specific relic, however.
Here’s how to farm gold quickly in Vampire Crawlers, including the best early- to late-game methods.
How to get more money in early-game Vampire Crawlers
The best way to farm gold isn’t available until you’ve entered the Dairy Plant dungeon, so if you haven’t progressed that far yet, here are the best ways to get more money from the first few dungeons in Vampire Crawlers.
- Upgrade the Greed stat, which increases the amount of gold received. You can play cards with the Greed effect during battle, but it’s even better to upgrade Greed to the maximum level at the Shop. This power-up comes with four upgrade levels that each add +25% coins, thus granting up to 100% more coins.
- Cash out when opening a treasure chest. Instead of selecting a reward from a treasure chest, such as a gem or evolution, press the “cash out” button to receive 200 gold instead of the reward. If the gems aren’t good, if you’re certain of victory, or if you’re replaying an old level, cashing out is the way to go.
- Replay early game floors using the “play all” button. Once you’ve reached the Teeny Bridge, you’re probably strong enough to re-run the Mad Forest without much trouble. Instead of wasting time carefully managing your deck, you can replay the Mad Forest very quickly by pressing the “play all” button during every encounter, thus allowing you to instantly play all cards in hand — they won’t be played in the optimal order, but with enough buffs and a good starting deck, that won’t matter.
How to use the Vampire Crawlers gold farming trick
Once you’ve reached the Dairy Plant, you can use a special trick to farm thousands of gold within a few minutes. First, collect the Bomba Infernale relic from the Dairy Plant dungeon, which is the first level after crossing the Teeny Bridge.
The Bomba Infernale lets you vaporize all enemies on the first floor of any dungeon you’ve previously cleared. Like all relics, it’s automatically activated. Re-enter the Dairy Plant (or any other cleared dungeon) and press the big red button in the middle of your screen to wipe out all enemies. Optionally, open the treasure chests and cash out, then go to the second dungeon floor, which will net you a big gold reward (600 gold at the Dairy Plant, though it varies per dungeon). From there, open the main menu, choose “return to village,” and repeat.
As you will keep the gold, even though you didn’t complete the dungeon, this method allows you to quickly grab 600+ gold in about 30 seconds. Keep replaying the first floor of the Dairy Plant with Bomba Infernale until you’re satisfied with your current stack of gold.
How to farm gold in late-game Vampire Crawlers
Once you’ve reached mid- to late-game, you will unlock the Greed Gem by playing the Stone Mask card 10 times. Slot the Greed Gem into any card (as long as you use it often) to gain +20% gold every time you play it. At the end of a dungeon, you may reach a whopping +1000% gold bonus. Furthermore, once you’ve cleared Gallo Tower, you can recruit Gallo, a Crawler who gains 25% more gold when played.
