Marvel‘s VisionQuest, the final piece of the Wanda/Vision TV series trilogy, finally has a release date. Marvel Television announced Tuesday that VisionQuest will premiere on Disney Plus on Oct. 14, serving as the conclusion of the story that started with WandaVision in 2021 and continued with Agatha All Along in 2024.
VisionQuest will see Paul Bettany return as Vision (specifically White Vision), the android originally created by Tony Stark and Bruce Banner in Avengers: Age of Ultron, then started a romantic relationship with Wanda Maximoff (Elizabeth Olsen), died in Avengers: Infinity War, and was later resurrected by the reality-shaping powers of the Scarlet Witch. White Vision is the reanimated, colorless version of the character, who was resurrected by SWORD as a weapon, later regained his original memories, and then went into hiding. Suffice it to say, (White) Vision’s journey in the MCU has been a little complicated, but it will be nice to see what the ‘droid’s been up to in recent years.
Joining Bettany in VisionQuest is a long list of new and returning characters, including James Spader, who returns as the evil robot Ultron. Ruaridh Mollica returns as Tommy Maximoff (aka Thomas Shepherd/Speed) and Faran Tahir reprises his role as Raza in the original Iron Man film. They’ll be joined by Todd Stashwick as the bounty hunter Paladin, T’Nia Miller as Jocasta, Emily Hampshire as EDITH, Orla Brady as FRIDAY, Henry Lewis as DUM-E, Jonathan Sayer as U, and James D’Arcy as JARVIS.
Terry Matalas, known for Star Trek: Picard, is reportedly serving as the series’ showrunner
With VisionQuest still five months away, Marvel fans can brush up on the story thus far by revisiting WandaVision, Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, and Agatha All Along, which are streaming on Disney Plus.
